Southampton Boat Show
If you have never been to Southampton Boat Show, Britain’s biggest boating festival, then be prepared for a spectacular event! Every year in September, Southampton Marina and the surrounding area is taken over for ten days with everything the marine industry has to offer. Whether you are looking to buy a top class yacht or just want a great day out - then you won’t be disappointed!
As one of Europe’s largest purpose built marinas, Southampton is the perfect place for a world class boat show. Southampton Boat Show has over 2km of pontoons and has over 300 boats on show -including yachts, RIBs, day boats and motor boats. As well as the boats on the marina, Southampton Boat Show plays host to Ocean Hall where the latest yachting gadgetry is on offer.
Plus it’s not just for adults – there’s plenty of entertainment for everyone - including the children. The site has an aquarium, a big wheel, the tall ship Artemis to explore, and various boat rides you can take, as well as a range of practical exhibits you can try your hands at. There’s even a Kid’s Corner to explore.
