Tidworth Garrison Golf Club
Tidworth Garrison Golf Club was established in 1907 as a golf course for service personnel and is alongside the Tidworth military camp on the eastern edge of Salisbury Plain.
The nine-hole course was extended to 18 holes shortly after the World War I. The course went on to be re-designed by Harry Colt and Donald Steel, and also became a private members club with non-military members also being allowed to play. It’s now considered one of the finest golf courses in Wiltshire.
The par three holes are excellent and the course is challenging and varies each time you play. You will also enjoy some stunning views across Salisbury Plain and the Wiltshire Downs from the higher parts of the course.
