  • How old do I have to be to check-in to the hotel?

    There must be at least one adult over the age of 18 in each party to check in.

  • What time is check-in/check-out?

    Our standard check in time is 3:00 p.m. and check out is 12:00 noon. Should you require an earlier check in, please discuss with our Front Desk Team upon arrival to the hotel.

    Alternatively, to pre book an early arrival, please email our Reservations Team at, this is subject to availability. A charge of £20 will be added to your bill.

    Should our Front Desk Team be unable to provide you with a guest room upon your arrival, we would be happy to store your luggage until a guest room becomes available.

  • Do you have Wi-Fi?

    WIFI is FREE and available in all public areas.

    Free WIFI is available in all guest rooms .

  • Do you allow pets?

    We happily accept Assistance Dogs only.

  • Do you have a shuttle or transportation services?

    No. Our Front Desk Team however will happily advise on public transport and order taxis.

  • Do you offer free parking for hotel guests?

    Yes. Complimentary self-parking at owner’s risk.

  • Can I pre-arrange a gift to be sent to a guest room prior to their arrival?

    Yes. The Front Desk team can assist with special gift ideas and bottles of Champagne that can be delivered to guest rooms prior to arrival. Please email

  • Do you offer hair dryers in your guest rooms?

    Yes. All of our guest rooms feature hairdryers as well as irons and ironing boards.

  • Can you guarantee special room requests (i.e. bed type and room location)?

    All special requests such as high or low floor numbers, or rooms near the elevator are assigned upon check in and based on availability. While requests are not guaranteed, please note that we do our best to accommodate all reasonable requests whenever possible. Please email our Reservations Team who will be delighted to assist you

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    The hotel accepts all Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and the IHG business account card.  We do of course also accept cash payments.

    Unfortunately the hotel is no longer able to accept personal/business or travellers cheques.

  • What is the nearest train station to the hotel?

    The nearest mainline train station is Salisbury and is located approximately 9 miles away. Andover mainline train station is located approximately 13 miles away.

  • How far away is the hotel from Stonehenge?

    The Stonehenge visitors centre is located 7 miles away from the Hotel. The Stonehenge stones are located 3 miles away for those guests wishing to walk. There is no public transport from the hotel.

  • Children’s Policy

    We have a KIDS STAY FREE & EAT policy in line with IHG.
    Subject to the correct room types being booked, all children under the age of 18 stay FREE if sharing their parent’s room. There is a breakfast supplement of £9.95 applicable for all children aged over 12 years old whose parents are on a bed and breakfast package, which will be added to your bill on arrival.
    All children 12 years and under EAT FREE from our children’s menu in our restaurant when dining with a full paying adult.
    Please be advised that we cannot accommodate extra beds in our standard rooms.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Our cancellation policy varies and is subject to the rate type booked. Our flexible rate can be cancelled up until 4 pm on the day prior to arrival with no charge. Pre-paid discounts or advance saver rates are fully pre-payable at time of booking and once booked are non-refundable. Please contact our Reservations Team if you are unsure.

    The Solstice Bar & Grill has an extensive menu available between 10 am and 9 pm.
    24 hour room service is also available with limited menu options available between 10 pm and 6 am.
